By the age of sixteen, Hakim had qualified as a professional stylist after training at La Main d’Or in Algiers. Driven by a desire to refine his technique further, he later moved to Paris, working within some of the city’s most respected salons and developing a couture approach to hair — tailored, meticulous and never formulaic.

In 2014, Hakim’s career took him to London, where he served as personal stylist to Elton John for seven years and worked with iconic figures including Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell. His experience spans red carpet events, private clients and fashion environments where calm precision is essential.

In 2020, Hakim established his salon at 60 Baker Street, creating a refined and welcoming space where couture-level craftsmanship is delivered daily. Today, he brings that same international experience to Mayfair, leading a carefully selected team of stylists who share his philosophy: hair should be considered, personal and timeless.
